Our goal is to provide convenient secure access to your parking information as well as offer reservations for both event and airport parking. This site also has other great offers and programs which are available at the Minneapolis Municipal Facilities.
The Minneapolis Parking System serves parkers of all kinds. In addition to monthly contract parking and hourly services, many of our garages contain facilities for bicyclists, motorcylists, and bus transit. Located throughout downtown, municipal parking garages help residents, visitors, and commuters access the businesses and entertainment centers of downtown Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Municipal Parking System provides clean, safe and convenient solutions to downtown travelers and promotes livability in the Minneapolis community.
Ramps and Lots
The Minneapolis Municipal Parking System is comprised of 17 parking ramps and 8 surface lots. These Ramps and Lots encompass over 20,000 parking spaces. Conveniently located in the warehouse, entertainment, and business districts, these facilities are under the direction of the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department, Traffic and Parking Services Division.
Parking Meters
The Municipal Parking system is also responsible for 6,800 strategically located on-street parking meters. Our meters can be accessed by coin or debit cards. These debit cards can be purchased at many locations in both Minneapolis and St. Paul.
