    The City of Minneapolis operates 6,800 parking meters located throughout the City. Meter rates and restrictions may vary by location and are posted at each individual meter. Identification through street signs is posted on each block. Please note, rates and restrictions may vary on different sides of the street.

    Your Vehicle Has Been Towed, Now What?
    Within 72 hours, a notice is mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle. If the vehicle is not picked up within 15 days of the notice, it may be sold at auction by the City.
